The Southland Strong Democratic (S.S.D.) Political Action Committee (PAC) was created to ensure that governing bodies over the south side of Chicago and South Suburbs are represented by Democrats with a strong sense of purpose, integrity, empathy, and a commitment to serving the public good for all.

Bad actors negatively impact Local governments efforts towards good public policy and administration. The S.S.D. will work diligently to slate and support candidates that have the aforementioned characteristics with your financial and in-kind support, the S.S.D. will work tirelessly to identify quality candidates by way of rigorous interviews. Those individuals will meet with our executive team to receive final endorsement of the PAC. A high bar will be maintained throughout our processes.
